How do you clean a dirty dust duster?

1. Pre-treatment: Take the duster outdoors and gently shake it, or use a soft-bristled brush to brush away large dust particles in the direction of the fibers.

2. Soaking and Washing: Add an appropriate amount of neutral detergent to warm water. Let the duster soak for 10–20 minutes, then gently squeeze it by hand or lightly brush it with a soft-bristled brush; for stubborn stains, you may extend the soaking time.

3. Rinsing and Drying: Rinse repeatedly with clean water until the water runs clear. Use a towel to absorb excess moisture, then hang the duster in a well-ventilated area to air-dry in the shade. Do not expose it to direct sunlight or wring it out forcefully.
