Operation and maintenance of electric mops

Mar 10, 2026 Leave a message

Basic operation includes assembling the main unit and mop handle, and attaching or installing the mop head to the rotating disc. Add clean water to the water tank through the inlet, ensuring it does not exceed the maximum water level line. Turn on the machine and select a cleaning mode; some products allow you to switch modes via buttons. Push the mop to clean; if needed, press the spray button for a fan-shaped mist spray.

For self-cleaning operation, place the mop head into the designated position in the dedicated cleaning bucket. Press and hold the spray button or power button (usually for 3 seconds) to enter self-cleaning mode. The mop will automatically rotate to complete the cleaning and drying process, taking approximately 30 to 90 seconds. Finally, step on the cleaning bucket pedal or open the drain valve to drain the wastewater.

Maintenance requires emptying the wastewater tank promptly after use. Clean the mop head or roller brush; some materials are washable. Charge the battery according to the product instructions and store it properly.

During use, please note the following: Avoid using in areas with excessive water to prevent water from entering the motor. Before cleaning, sweep or remove large debris from the floor. Use the dedicated cleaning or waxing solution according to the product instructions. Do not use corrosive cleaning agents. The typical operating noise level of the product is between 60 and 70 decibels.
