Ensure the flat mop is in the off position. If it has a spray function, ensure the water tank is empty.
Locate the connection point between the flat mop and the handle. Usually, there will be a connection button or a rotary switch at the detachment point.
Button connection: Press and hold the connection button while gently pulling the flat mop upwards until it detaches from the handle.
Rotary switch connection: Locate the rotary switch and rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise to unlock it. Then, pull the flat mop away from the handle.
Once the flat mop is detached, you can proceed with cleaning, changing the mop head, and other maintenance tasks.
